THE SODOMITES
the sodomites are the first to strangle each other
and their bed is stale with syrup and feces
the lavender scent of genitalia
turns into the reek
of something dying but not altogether dead
the clock strikes midnight
who will be the last in line
and therefore end it all
with the final and monumental suicide?
