the principal premise of gnosticism
is the idea that numinous experience
can and/or should be attained
through means of knowledge,
attainable wisdom,
rather than through merely blind faith;

it is also the notion
that divine knowledge
is a reality
and holds phenomenological value,
which, in practical terms,
is adversarial
to the idea of mainstream christianity
from which streams
the zealous subjugation under god
on the bottom of faith's lake
with all the dead fish
whom took for granted
the paradism of extramortality

i don't know what
i am talking about
maybe that is a good thing
maybe this is what vygotsky talked about
and that this is
proximal development
in action.

poem

every human being
is a center
and a regime,
and a body, and a knife:

centers are dragged outward
and regimes fall in fire,
but memories of scars
die as hard as love.
